AECID

The Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECID) was created in November, 1988, to manage the Spanish policies involving the international cooperation for development. It is aimed at fighting poverty, understood as the lack of opportunities and options, and the promotion of sustainable development.

ActionAid

The organization, which began in England in 1973 is present in 35 countries, involving nine million people in the poorest regions of the planet. It has as its mission the eradication of poverty by means of working in partnership with the poor populations and their organizations, to support them and guarantee their basic rights, overcoming exclusion, injustice and inequality. In Latin-America it is active in Brazil, Guatemala, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, with local and national partners and social movements.

Plan International

Founded over 70 years ago, Plan is one of the oldest and largest children's development organisations in the world. Working in 48 developing countries across Africa, Asia and the Americas to promote child rights and lift millions of children out of poverty, Plan works with more than 3,500,000 families and their communities each year.

German Association for Adult Literacy

Through its International Cooperation Institute, it collaborates for over 30 years with state and civil society organizations as well as universities from all over the world. In developing countries from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe, the intention is to develop and strengthen an adult education which takes into account the context of each country, based on technical criteria and oriented by the interests of the local population.

Ayuda en Acción

The main objective of this organization dedicated to international cooperation is to improve the living conditions of children, families and communities in the most disadvantaged countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa. Today it has more than 185.000 collaborators in 19 countries. In Latin-America it is active in Bolivia, Equador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Colombia and Paraguay.

Global Campaign for Education

An international coalition of NGOs, education unions, school centers and social movements. It defends education as a human right, putting political pressure on governments and the international community to honor their commitment of providing quality public education. It promotes and coordinates at world-wide level the Global Week of Action.

Save the Children UK

The Organization fights for the children that suffer from poverty, illnesses, injustice and violence – in The United Kingdom and the world. The work has as its foundation the commitment to transform the rights of children into reality, battle flag of its founders, today guaranteed in the United Nations Convention of the Rights of the Child. In the Latin-American region it develops projects in Brazil, Colombia, Jamaica, Honduras and Guatemala.
